Bang. Bang. Kiss. Kiss.

Here I sit on the eve of my college graduation recollecting four years that have gone by way too quickly.  I’m not one for an emotional goodbye or tears…so this is as good as it’s going to get.

The last four years of my life have changed me forever. In my mind I’m replaying the scene from Bridesmaids where Helen and Annie are arguing if people really change or if they stay the same. I’m with Helen. In some respects we stay the same, but we do change for the most part. Almost four years ago I was a Freshman…the lowest life form in college. I had three friends, joined no clubs, and didn’t even have a declared major. 

But something happened. I magically made friends, joined clubs and even decided on a major (that I’m not even pursing anymore)! There are things in life that we don’t understand; forces that pull and push us in directions that we never thought were possible. I wouldn’t change my experience at Georgian Court for anything. Although I’d love to punch a bunch of people right after I grab my diploma, the memories that I have are worth more than any assault charge. 

So at this point in my ramble I would like to thank all of the people in my life who believed, trusted, and confided in me. You have all made my life wonderful and you have all played a huge role in my change. I love each and everyone of you. 

Let’s all get through graduation, take some pictures, make memories, have a glass of wine and let it all sink in. We will never be as young as we are tonight.
